Tether is TP-Link’s free app for setting up and managing its home routers, xDSL modem routers and Wi-Fi range extenders. It turns common admin tasks into a few taps on your phone.

How to get started
- Install Tether from Google Play or the App Store.
- Connect your phone to the router’s or extender’s Wi-Fi.
- Open Tether, pick your device and log in, or sign in with a TP-Link ID.
- Follow the quick setup, then add parental-control profiles if you need them.
